Artwork by Oregon photographer, Jason McPheeters - This is a view of the towering smokestacks from the old milling days of Central Oregon, dating back to the early 1900s. This was at one time the Powerhouse for the old Shelvin-Hixon lumber mill, which was one of the area's two largest sawmills in the world. Ironically, both mills, Shevlin-Hixon and Brooks-Scanlon, operated right across from one another along the Deschutes River. Today, the stacks are surrounded by an outdoor shopping mall with only a few of the original structures still remaining.
Available in fine art prints and other home decor to refresh your space. Purchase beautiful and unique gifts like canvas bags, journals, puzzles, greeting cards and more.
