This shot was taken during the summer on a fishing dock at Yaquina Bay in Newport Oregon. After walking down the dock and talking to crabbers to see how their luck was, I saw this seagull land on the rail in front of me. I think the gull was assessing the scene to see if I too had some tasty bait to put in a crab trap.
