Artwork by Oregon photographer, Jason McPheeters - As I was walking through the local McKay Park in Bend, Oregon, I noticed these bright, beautiful lupine flowers just buzzing with bees, but what really caught my eye was this one huge bumble bee, the largest I've seen in a long time. I loved how this bee stood out against the turquoise teal background and was oblivious to me being there. It and the other honey bee next to it were just happy to be gathering all this pollen for their hives.
